Monika Evans (wcześniej znana jako Monika Thomas :) dostała niezwykłe zaproszenie. Oto prestiżowy brytyjski klub muzyczno-taneczny D’Meltin’Pot z Chester zaproponował jej regularne występy w ramach cyklu Acoustic Thursday Nights @ D’Meltin’Pot.

Monika koncertowała tam już trzy razy. Jej występy spotkały się z tak dobrym przyjęciem publiczności, że klub zdecydował się zaproponować Artystce regularne koncerty w co drugi czwartek. Pierwszy odbył się tydzień temu, kolejny już za tydzień.
W D’Meltin’Pot odbędzie się również brytyjska premiera krążka “Nomen Nescio”. Póki co jednak Monika na razie gra akustyczne wersje piosenek, zapowiada płytę i regularnie zaprasza na portal MT :)
Koncerty odbywają się w co drugi czwartek: 25.03, 08.04, 22.04, etc. Start o 20:00, wjazd jest free.

D’Meltin’Pot Showcases Star in the Making at Acoustic Night
From March 11th onwards, on alternate Thursdays D’Meltin’Pot will be showcasing a star in the making, stunning acoustic singer and musical talent Monika Evans, as part of its free-entry Thursday entertainment. Monika’s style of music is down-tempo and chilled out, with influences including Tori Amos, Jewel, Massive Attack and Lara Fabian – perfect for a relaxing evening with a cool vibe.
Singer/songwriter Monika recently reached the semi-finals of the UK songwriting contest; having made the final of Oppa 2009 she also won USA Song of the Year for February 2009 and is through to the prestigious grand final.

Born in Krakow, Monika began her music career playing violin and piano at the age of ten and has been singing and composing music since the age of sixteen. Originally combining her career as an interpreter with playing piano and singing in cafes in Krakow and Vienna, Monika started to realise her dream as a musician after coming to the UK and meeting husband Paul Evans.
Following huge success on a music web portal, fans invested 5000 GBP to send Monika to a professional studio to record her latest album NN (Nomen Nescio), due to be released soon.
